For dealer websites

Let shoppers ask your site to email them when the right vehicle shows up

A shopper searches for a vehicle you do not have today, or wants the next used SUV that arrives. They leave an email address, confirm it, and hear from you when your inventory changes. No one is emailed before they say yes.

Early access. Nothing is sent to shoppers until a site is switched on.

How it works

  1. The shopper signs up

A short form appears on your inventory pages, most usefully when a search finds nothing. The shopper picks the alerts they want and enters an email address.

  2. They confirm by email

We send one plain message with a confirmation link. Alerts start only after the shopper clicks it. Until then the address is on hold and nothing else is sent.

  3. They hear when it matters

We watch your inventory feed. When a vehicle they asked about returns, or a new used vehicle arrives in their body style, they get a short digest with links to your site.

The alerts shoppers can choose

Back in stock

For a make, model and year the shopper looked for and could not find. When a match is listed on your site, they get the news first.

New arrivals by body style

Used vehicles only. The shopper picks SUV, truck, sedan or any other body style on offer and is told when a new one is listed.

Used vehicles, kept simple

Arrival alerts cover used inventory. Each email groups everything new into one digest, so a busy week is one message, not ten.

Add it to your site

Paste one tag where you want the form. It loads a small frame from this service, so nothing on your page is rewritten. Replace dealer.example.com with your own site domain.

Script tag

<div id="shopper-alerts"></div>
<script src="https://consumeralerts.vinficient.com/embed.js"
        data-site="dealer.example.com"

        data-container="#shopper-alerts"
        async></script>

Google Tag Manager

Create a Custom HTML tag, paste the snippet below, and fire it on your inventory pages. Set data-ctx to empty on pages that show no results.

<script src="https://consumeralerts.vinficient.com/embed.js"
        data-site="dealer.example.com"
        data-ctx="empty"
